Small Enterprise Economic Development (SEED) Training Program

Each group of accepted applicants will attend the training sessions, work with graduate student interns from the School of Business and School of Social Welfare of the University at Albany, SUNY and Business Advisors with the Small Business Development Center to develop the Business Plan and financial projections to apply for the business financing.
Each training is divided into three sections:
Business Plan
Divided into Sections, Reviewed and Assigned as Homework Weekly
Content Area
Content Area covers: General Start-Up Information, Branding 101, Customer Service Basics, Legal Fundamentals, Prioritizing and Time Management, Internet Marketing, Cash Flow Management, and Business Red Flags
Peer Support
Designed to Build the Relationships for the Post-Funding Peer Support Program.
Intern Support
MBAs and MS Accounting students serve as interns who help clients develop a viable business plan.
