November 22, 2019: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Event Navigation
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) promises to redefine the workforce and economy of the Capital Region and beyond. As the U.S. begins to lag in A.I. investment compared to nations like China, the Capital Region emerges as a standout in investing in cutting-edge technologies in fields that will be redefined by A.I.: climate change mitigation, clean energy production and cybersecurity. How will changes brought by A.I. in these sectors affect the future of the region’s economy? What opportunities and pitfalls exist in preparing our community for an intelligent future?
Join us for an interactive panel discussion sponsored by U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko and Assemblymember Patricia Fahy and featuring some of the region’s leading experts on A.I., climate, clean energy and cybersecurity.
Parking will be available in the State Quad Student Lot. Registrants will receive further details in a confirmation email.
