“To celebrate women working at the Iron Roost in Ballston Spa, owner Linnaea DiNallo got purple shirts from nearby woman-owned Nourish Design and even promoted the village boutique by including information about the business with the gift.

‘That’s the kind of support and collaboration that goes on all the time,” said Nourish Design owner Betsy Seplowitz on Thursday.’”

Craig Child to lead NSTC’s Extreme Ultraviolet Accelerator in Albany – Albany Business Review

“Natcast, the nonprofit tasked with operating the CHIPS Act-backed National Semiconductor Technology Center, has named the first director of the research consortium’s Albany branch.

Craig Child will serve as Natcast’s top-ranking representative based at Albany Nanotech Complex, which last year was selected to host the NSTC’s Extreme Ultraviolet Accelerator.”

Fort Miller Group buys former Essity site in Greenwich, New York

“A local manufacturing group recently paid $4.5 million in cash for Swedish paper products giant Essity’s shuttered plant in Greenwich, according to Washington County records.

The Fort Miller Group, an employee-owned holding company based in nearby Easton, will use the 230,280-square-foot complex at 72 County Route 53 for several of its businesses, Rick Schumaker, a member of the board of directors, told the Business Review.”
