Whistling Kettle launches sparkling tea line, aims for grocery stores

“Capital Region tea/restaurant company The Whistling Kettle is planning to expand into more retail products.

The Whistling Kettle has introduced canned sparkling teas and is developing a loose leaf tea line for local grocery stores and co-ops, Kevin Borowsky, vice president/co-owner, said.”

Hudson Valley Community College received three surplus Air Force jets

“Hudson Valley Community College just got a multimillion dollar donation – but not of cash. The college received three U.S. Air Force jets.

The jets were flown into Albany International Airport this week, where they will never take off again. Instead, they will be taken apart and put back together as students learn how to maintain aircraft.”

Albany airport to add two passenger gates

“With a $100 million terminal expansion already well underway, a contract has been awarded for the next big improvement at Albany International Airport — one that could bring more airline options for travelers.

AOW Construction LLC of Albany was the lowest of four bidders who competed for the contract to upgrade Concourse A, the oldest of the three boarding/waiting areas at the airport.”
