On Saturday, June 22nd, the UpState New York Black Chamber of Commerce will partner with George Biddle Kelly Foundation and Metropolitan Baptist Church to launch Black Wealth 2020 (BW 2020), a national initiative and movement to unite some of the most historic national economic, civic and civil rights organizations with a goal to impact economic outcomes in Black America throughout the decade of the 2020’s and beyond in an effort to create legacies through establishing inter-generational wealth. The BW 2020 is a three-pronged strategy designed to significantly increase the number of Black homeowners, strong Black-owned businesses and deposits in Black banks.
