“Chris Patten, the new owner of the Rockhill Bakehouse Cafe, received approval from the Glens Falls Planning Board when he presented plans to enlarge and renovate the property.

He plans to add two apartments above the cafe, expand the cafe itself, and do a “full gut renovation” of the inside of the building, he said.”

UAlbany researcher awarded $3.4 million in NIH grants since September

“University at Albany biology professor Paolo Forni has been awarded $3.439 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health since September.

Forni, a native of Italy who got his Ph.D. at the University of Turin, has been working at UAlbany since 2014. He is an assistant professor and operates a research lab on campus called the Fornilab that has trained 19 students so far.”
