Justin Constantine served in the Marine Corps for sixteen years, both on active duty and as a Reservist, and retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head while in Iraq, and survived thanks to the Navy Corpsman and other Marines with him that day.
Despite his injury, Justin continued to practice law at the Department of Justice and with a counter-terrorism unit at the FBI, and in 2014 graduated with honors from Georgetown University with an advanced law degree in National Security Studies. In 2015, Justin wrote, My Battlefield, Your Office: Leadership Lessons From the Front Lines, taking celebrated leadership practices from the Marine Corps and applying them to the private sector.
Justin is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, was named a Champion of Change by President Obama, and was also one of the wounded warriors painted by President Bush in his book, Portraits of Courage. Justin’s latest book, From “We Will” to “At Will”, was recently published by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Justin is now the Chief Business Development Officer at JobPath, the most robust and fastest growing veteran employment platform in the country.
