SEMI President & CEO Ajit Manocha invites you to a luncheon presentation to unveil Georgetown University’s long-awaited and comprehensive study on how semiconductor manufacturing has transformed the New York capital region.
Dr. Charles W. Wessner and Thomas R. Howell will reveal key findings from their multi-year, in-depth study on the Tech Valley. A distinguished panel will also join them to discuss how state investments in cooperative research and support have revitalized the regional economy and workforce, including the direct and indirect benefits that sustained cooperation have had on growth and employment, the area’s educational institutions, the public policy lessons learned along the way, and the new challenges and opportunities facing the region.
No cost to attend, and complementary lunch will be provided.
