Nurses Middle College Charter High School wants to open in downtown Albany
“A new charter school wants to lease space in a downtown Albany office building to offer education and training to high school-aged students interested in nursing and other health care fields.
The Nurses Middle College Charter High School-Capital Region wants to open at 50 Beaver St., a six-story building around the corner from the MVP Arena.”
Damabois of Canada acquires Pallets Inc. in Fort Edward
“Pallets Inc. in Fort Edward has been acquired by Damabois, a 37-year-old lumber processing company and pallet manufacturer headquartered east of Montreal, Canada.
Founded during World War II in Glens Falls, Pallets Inc. is a third-generation company that employed 35 people as recently as last August.”

“It’s safe to say that Albany, like many downtowns across the country, isn’t exactly back to where it was in early 2020.
But its post-Covid recovery has gone better than many other downtowns, according to data compiled by the Business Journals.”
