Event Navigation
Join NY-BEST for this one-hour webinar featuring New York State leaders who are spearheading efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the state’s transportation sector.
New York’s landmark Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, enacted in 2019, requires New York to reduce economy-wide GHG emissions 40 percent by 2030 and no less than 85 percent by 2050 from 1990 levels. This webinar will highlight the State’s on-going efforts aimed at achieving GHG emissions reductions in the transportation sector, including the activities of the Climate Action Council Transportation Advisory Panel and the State’s development of a Clean Transportation Roadmap.
Attendees will obtain a comprehensive understanding of clean transportation initiatives under way and/or being considered by the State, as well as ways to participate in these efforts going forward.
