Infrastructure

Tech Valley’s infrastructure meets the demands of local companies who need immediate access to the global economy.  New York City and Boston are both less than 150 miles away, the new Albany International Airport and Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak train station provide a hub for convenient travel, and the Port of Albany is located on the Upper Hudson River and has been an historic transportation nucleus since the city was founded more than 300 years ago.  In addition, Tech Valley has a fully developed and integrated utilities infrastructure led by the presence of National Grid.
