COXSACKIE -- Here on Mansion Street, the main thoroughfare in the village of Coxsackie, an art deco building symbolizes the future of Greene County -- at least in the eyes of Alexander "Sandy" Mathes Jr. The building, the Greene Accelerator, is being used by the Greene County Industrial Development Agency to help the county's business community grow.
