Former SI Group spokeswoman joins CEG

Kimberly Perone has been named director of membership development and communication at the Albany-based Center for Economic Growth, a regional economic development organization.
She’ll be responsible for many of the duties formerly handled by David Rooney, who had served as senior vice president for programs. Rooney left CEG at the end of December to become regional director of Empire State Development Corp., a position he held only briefly before being named president of the Berkshire Economic Development Corp. in Massachusetts.
