This interactive session will be geared toward helping attendees to better understand the workings of the New York State Assembly, New York State government and the state budget process.

In addition, attendees will learn about the role of the Assembly Committee on Governmental Operations which has jurisdiction over various homeland security and emergency response functions in New York State.
